                          God’s Calling:  Assignment & Mission

This letter is being devoted to providing more details concerning the assignment and mission revealed through the Holy Spirit.  A brief overview was introduced in Letter 1.

When God awakened me (born again experience) on October 2, 2001, it was accompanied by a sense of urgency. I felt this urgency was related to what Jesus wanted me to do. The Holy Spirit planted this message into my spirit; “my life up to this point in time has been one of preparation for what I am going to do.” As the month progressed, God provided the sense that the work would be evangelistic in nature and involve witnessing to others.

As I prayed late Friday evening, October 26th, I asked God to be very clear about what my life’s assignment was to be.  At about 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2001, (a Sabbath) the Holy Spirit revealed the following assignment: (presented here in its purest form)

ASSIGNMENT

       v Minister to (His) children
v Focus on young children
v These “little ones” will be “lights” in the darkness
v Expose the work of Satan
v Focus on Eternity
v Evangelistic
v Far-reaching
v 5 Years

v        The Holy Spirit also provided a sense that the ministry would be multi-faceted, have something to do with television and there would be legal transactions involved

On Sunday morning and into the day, the Holy Spirit laid out these basic steps to follow in accomplishing this assignment:

       v        Lay the foundation
v        Gather materials
v        Write materials
v        Recruit Christians (to work in this ministry)
v        Develop methods (to use to convey the message(s) of this ministry)

A short time later, the Holy Spirit spoke an order concerning Le Sueur. Already in October, the Holy Spirit had begun impressing upon me how literal God truly is.

After going through the divine healing experiences shared in Letters 2 & 3 and Jesus revealing this assignment, the Holy Spirit spoke these words:

         ___________________________________________________

This is but a prelude of what is to come”

Over the next nine months, it was truly Jesus who laid the basic foundation for this ministry.  It was as if the teachings and materials were brought directly to me and placed on my lap.  Each day, I prayed for the Holy Spirit to take me step by step. This is exactly what He did and continues to do.

After the revelation concerning my assignment, I had a nagging sense that something was going to happen the following summer.

On Saturday, July 20, 2002, (another Sabbath - 9 months birthing time later) the Holy Spirit revealed what my overall mission is to be:

MISSION

> A spiritual leader,
> Strengthen “The Church,”
> Prepare souls for eternity

All of what the Holy Spirit spoke, revealed and taught me during the period between these two revelations fits so well with the assignment and mission God is entrusting to me to be accomplished through Gariel Ministries.

As you read through this letter, perhaps, you will begin to understand why I believe this ministry is to be operated apart from any one particular church. However, at the same time it is intended to support and strengthen all Christians and all churches.
