The Revelation Genesis Link Gariel Ministries – April 25, 2008 Series: Jesus Christ: The Only Way To Eternal Life by Dorothy von LehePart 4 – The Tree of Life, Resurrection and Life For Ever In a dream experienced about three years ago,
I am instructing As I began to awaken from this dream, I found myself wondering what God meant by resurrection. Was this referring to the resurrection of Jesus Christ or was it referring to the resurrection of believers who have died in Christ. I have concluded it means both. While preparing to write part 4 of this series, the Holy Spirit brought this dream into remembrance. I believe He wants me to use this dream in connection with an exploration of scripture passages from Chapter 3 of the Book of Genesis. Specifically, passages concerning the Tree of Life. Genesis 3:22 And the Lord God said, Behold the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: When Adam and Eve ate fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, their eyes were opened to evil - they came to know evil - they experienced evil. There are at least two things this particular verse tells us: First, when God created mankind He provided a way for man to live for ever. The fruit of the Tree of Life made it possible for the physical body that houses the spirit and soul to live for ever. Second, this verse tells us that God would not allow mankind to live for ever because we came to know (experience) both good and evil. God is completely holy. God is completely pure. Pure holiness repels evil. Pure holiness must destroy the evil around it. Our loving God cannot and will not allow good and evil to co-exist for ever. Christians cannot live for ever in the presence of God with their born again spirit and soul housed in a corrupted body. God had to remove Adam and Eve from the garden of Eden. God removed them from being able to get to and eat fruit from the Tree of Life. Man’s body began the process of physical death. Man had to experience the curse that followed disobedience to God. Genesis 3: 23-24 Therefore, the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. So He drove out the man; and He placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. Keep in mind: I wish to share, once more, a dream that was part of a series of dreams with messages concerning the end times. **see belowExperienced in the early morning hours of Sunday, March 3, 2002 Dream 1 with Message When I began to doze off, I started thinking about a young
boy on the street. This boy appeared to be very sad and he was saying no one
cares about me. I went over to him and started to talk with him. I told him
about Jesus and how Jesus cares. As I continued talking to the boy, people and
more people gathered around us. Then, I turned toward the crowd “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.” (KJV)

We must all go through the process of dying. Our sin corrupted bodies must eventually die. God cannot allow them to live for ever. I believe that Genesis 3 clearly shows that by trying to be good or by thinking of yourself as a good person cannot get you to heaven. Only God can provide the way to heaven. He lovingly has. He has provided the one and only way to “be made alive.” God begat a Son conceived by a virgin through the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus is both God and man. Jesus had to become man so that the necessary blood sacrifice could be made for the remission of mans’ sin. (See part 3 of series) Life is in the blood. Jesus has to be God, so the sacrifice made would be perfect, pleasing and acceptable to God. Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the son of man, won victory for us over sin, over death and over Satan through His willing crucifixion, death and His bodily resurrection. Jesus overcame the curse that sin brought to the world. The resurrection of Jesus makes it possible for those who believe, repent and receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior to receive God’s grace and be born “in Christ.” When we are born “in Christ” we are assured that we will experience the resurrection of the body. Our corruptible body will be resurrected and be a new incorruptible, nonperishable, glorified body that will live in purity and holiness in the presence of God for ever. 1 Corinthians 15: 42-43 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown
in corruption; it is raised in incorruption. It is sown in dishonour; it is
raised in glory. I is sown in When God put 1 Corinthians 15:22 into the dream He provided, I believe He was also confirming the ministry He was giving birth to. When you read verses 21 - 23 together they basically sum up the content of what Gariel Ministries is to focus on through its ministry. 1 Corinthians 15: 21-23 “For since by man came
death, For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ, the firstfruits, afterward they that are Christ’s at His coming.” The New Jerusalem that is being prepared in Heaven includes once again the Tree of Life from which the saved (the family of God) can eat freely for ever. Praise God the Father. Praise God the Son. Praise God the Holy Spirit. Thank You Jesus. Amen! Revelation 21: 1-3 Revelation 22: 1-4
