Page 4 Go to Volume 1 Letter 4 Page 1 As October progressed,
the lingering sense of death lifted from me.
It was replaced with a strong sense of life, life eternal.
Today, I rarely think about dying. I
focus my thoughts and attention on spending eternity with Jesus.
Perhaps, I will die before the Second Coming of Jesus and the rapture of
“The Church,” but this doesn’t seem to concern me. Even thinking about
going through the process of physical death doesn’t have much affect because I
know Jesus will be right there with me. Jesus
has more than convinced me that eternity in the presence of God exists.
Eternal life in the presence of God is available to all who truly believe
in and follow our precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In February of 2000, I
had a stroke. The cardiologist ran numerous tests to try to determine the cause
of the stroke. The stroke was caused by a tear in the wall of a small artery in
the back of my head. The tear had
blocked the passage of blood through that artery into my brain thus causing some
of my brain cells to die. I was
informed that I had suffered a previous stroke some time in the past, which
apparently had not produced any symptoms. This
stroke affected my vision. Today, I still have a circular spot in front of my
eyes that makes me have to try to look around a small blurry area as I focus in
on such things as reading a book. According to the MRI that was done, the
cardiologist determined that I had a condition he referred to as fibro muscular
dysplasia. He said the arteries in
the back of my head were very narrow and beady. Because of the stroke and this disorder,
a blood thinner was prescribed that supposedly I was to take for the rest of my
life. For about 21 months I took a generic version of Coumadin. These blood
thinners are actually rat poisons. As
I stated, I believe taking this blood thinner kept me from having a heart
attack. In October of 2001, I
visited my cardiologist and asked him if he would consider doing another MRI on
me. He agreed to this because there
had been problems with some results using the old MRI equipment and a new MRI
machine had been installed. The results of this MRI indicated no
evidence of fibro muscular dysplasia. No longer do I experience shortness of
breath or tingly numbness in my arms. No longer am I diagnosed as having fibro
muscular dysplasia. No longer do I have to take rat poison to thin my blood. It seems as if these words: “I
have heard your prayer and seen your tears, I will heal you.
I will add fifteen years to your life” apply
directly to me. God’s great love, mercy and compassion were extended to
Hezekiah in the times of the Old Testament. In present times, Jesus has clearly
demonstrated to me and through me that He exists and is our Healer.
He is providing my experiences as examples of His great love, mercy and
compassion for His own. In letter two, it was stated that I
would cover divine healing experiences in this letter. I have started doing this
with this letter, but I wish to continue discussing divine healing experiences
and the subject of divine healing in future letters. For over two years now, I
have had a very strong sense that has become a strong belief that divine healing
and things related to divine healing will play a significant role in this
ministry. Through His suffering, crucifixion, death and resurrection, Jesus literally overcame everything of this sinful world, which includes sickness, disease and infirmities. Jesus is our Healer. He wants to make His children whole. Please take this truth into your heart. Testimony of Dorothy von Lehe |
